Obituary of Alfred Samuel Theriac
A memorial service to honor the life of Alfred Samuel Theriac will be held at 3pm on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Boone
Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.
Alfred was born on January 12, 1939 in Clarendon, Arkansas and was called by his Heavenly Father to come home on Thursday, October 11,
2018. He had fought a courageous battle with a lengthy illness.
He loved his extended family with all his heart. They were one of the most important things in his life. He saw only the good
in every human being. Alfred loved playing tournament poker and was very good at it. It was a favorite pass time.
He was a Shriner with El Karubah and a member of the Scottish Rite. Alfred and his wife loved traveling and watching football
together. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army which was a passion of his life.
Mr. Theriac was preceded in death by his parents, Dale Franklin Theriac and Pearl Theriac, brother, John Theriac, sisters, Edna Pearson,
Virginia Duncan,Mildred Earline Betzner, and Paula Edward Smith. Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Dolores Thornton Theriac, daughters, Diane Perry, Sherrie Holcomb and husband Scott, Jennifer Myrick and husband Carl, sons Melvin Theriac and Don Wilkins and wife Rebecca, sister Linda Johnson and husband Paul, brother Danny Theriac and wife, Sandy, brother Jim Theriac and wife Gail, stepson, Jason Burton, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many other extended family members and friends.
Alfred now rejoices with the Heavenly Father but will be dearly missed by his wife and family. We will see him again.
