Charlene--A Portrait of CourageI first met Charlene in the first grade, and we periodically kept in touch during grade school and high school after she left Plain Dealing. She was the most COURAGEOUS person I have ever met. She was one of those rare people who made me feel better after visiting her. She was positive and realistic at the same time. I am so gladd she never has to suffer again, but selfishly miss her kindnesses.

With Our Deepest SympathyHow do we want to be remembered? Someone said, "If you close your eyes and think of that person, and a smile comes on your face, that's what you want." Well a smile comes on mine everytime I think of Charlene. With Heartfelt Sympathy, Larry and Sue Wiliis

I was blessed to have known Charlene Sonnier. If I could even have part of her courage and grace bestowed upon me then I know I could face whatever comes my way in the days to come. I am so thankful I was able to see her smiling face and hear her laughter on Friday. If you need anything, please call.

With Loving MemoriesIt may only be the little things that we will remember. We will recall special times and smile, even make us laugh from our experiences with Mrs. Sonnier. And although it may seem hard for us all right now, it will be our own individual memories with and of Mrs. Sonnier, as she gave us the priviledge to be involved in her life. Growing up as kids with the Sonnier family, even the times when we got in trouble, she was there with our ?coffee milk? and her smile the next morning. Little things will help us push away the pain and bring the smiles back she gave us. With Loving Memories and Heartfelt Sympathy, Curry Baker and Jack Harvill

With Deepest SympathyIf there is one verse that comes to mind when thinking of Mrs. Sonnier, it would have to be 2 Timothy 4:7: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Good Gracious, I don't think I've ever seen a lady possess a more competitive attitude in my life! What a blessing it is knowing that Mrs. Sonnier has a brand new, cancer-free, and pain free body. May you always treasure the wonderful memories and hold them all dear to your heart. We love you all. Greg, Kelly, Emily, and Anna Kate
