Bossier City- Funeral services for Mrs. Willene W. Smith will be held Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 10:30am at Boone Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Frank Himmel, Rev. James Carroll and Rev. Ron Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30pm at Red Hill Methodist Cemetery in Chidester, AR.
Mrs. Smith went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 07, 2009 with her family by her side, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Alfred Smith; sons, James William Carroll and wife Terry Ann, Ron Carroll and wife Billie, and Robert Edwin Carroll and wife Sherry; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and sister, Coy Dell Johnson and husband Roger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee Wood and Arsie Mae Vernon Wood; and brothers, Johnny Roy Wood and John Wesley Wood.
