Obituary of Nettie Anna Stiles

Nettie Anna Lowder Stiles, 82 years old, passed away at home.  Nettie was born October 22, 1939 in Forney, Texas.  Graveside services for Nettie will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Plain Dealing Cemetery.  Officiating will be David Draper.  The family will receive guests between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the same day at Boone Funeral Home.

Nettie worked as a school cafeteria manager for the Bossier Parish School Board for 28 years.  She attended church at Immanuel Baptist Church in Plain Dealing. She was very involved with the church by helping everyone, and doing the bulletins for Sunday services.  She was a loving person who was there for anyone that needed help.

Nettie is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Stiles; parents, Eugene and Daphane Davis; son, Eugene T. Stiles; and daughter, Sandra Otto.  She is survived by grandchildren, Angela Stiles, Mike Stiles, and Chris Temple; great-grandchildren, Dillon Wells; sister Vada Syphrett and husband Kenneth; sister-in-law, Judy Kelly and husband; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.  

Nettie loved her family and friends. She was a strong woman, independent woman and a woman with a heart of gold.  She was a strong Christian women and is now resting in Heaven with her Lord and Savior.
