Obituary of James Paul Hibner

James Paul Hibner passed away peacefully on October 18, 2018 at home with family at his side.  A memorial service to honor Jim’s life will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Bellaire Baptist Church.  Officiating will be Dr. Randy Harper. 

Jim was a simple man that had a strong faith in God.  He valued time with his family and friends. Throughout his career with Walmart he developed a strong family bond with his co-workers.  When not working, he loved being outdoors going fishing, hunting, or working in his garden.  He truly enjoyed spending time outside appreciating all the beauty that God created.  

Proceeding Jim in death is son, James Paul Hibner, Jr.; sisters, Linda Lemoine of Romance, AR and Rita Rhodes of Haughton, and his parents Berta Mae and Paul Henry Hibner.  He is survived by son, Brady Hibner and wife Ashley; grandchildren, Maddox Hibner and Davilynn  Hibner; sister, Terri Putt; companion, Romona Podgorny; and many other family members and friends.

Jim touched many during his life and will be greatly missed by all that had the honor of knowing him.  Even with dealing with health challenges in his final years, he inspired many by remaining faithful.
