To the family,When a loved one dies, no words, however, reasonable, can take away the pain and the void that you feel. However, there is One, who really is aware of how you feel because "He cares for you."(1 Peter 5:7)He promisesthat: "He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8, New World Translations of the Holy Scriptures)He also says:"And many of them that sleep in the dust of the ground shall awaken."(Daniel 12:2, Holy Bible, King James Version)So, although the loss of your loved one is painful, there is hope. So: "Trust ye the LORD forever, for the LORD Jehovah is everlasting strength."-Isaiah 26:4, Holy Bible, King James Version.

My condolences to the Chapman family. I hope that he memories you have shared with Betty Sue will be a source of comfort at this difficult time. Also very comforting are the words at Psalm 46:1 which says, "God is for us a refuge and strength, a help that is readily found during distresses."

It is truly a sad day when our Mothers die but the Bible holds out a wonderful hope. In the Scriptures, death is clearly explained. Furthermore, the Bible not only reveals why we die but also explains the condition of the dead and offers hope for our deceased loved ones. Finally, it speaks of a momentous time when it will be possible to report: ?Death is swallowed up forever.??1 Corinthians 15:54.This has been a real comfort to me as those I love pass away. Sincerely,Ann Henderson with USS.

I am sorry to learn of your family sorrow. The death of a loved one is painful. If I may, I'd like to share scripture found in your Bible that may comfort you in some way. John 6:40 reads...For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him in the last day.
