Warmest MemoriesMy heartfelt sympathy to the entire Anderson family on the passing of Christie. I knew Cristie starting at Indiana University. What a great player she was and vivacious human being. There were so many things she did with the Tuba players at Indiana as she was also a euphonium player too with the Tuba Santas. I still remember the day she got up on top of one of the tuba player's shoulders to get into our teacher's half-constructed house and fell off and broke her arm. What a hoot of a time she had with us all at IU. And then the day I went to AF basic training to join the band I showed up at the airport in San Antonio and I hear an excited "Eric" and there was Christie, going into basic training the same day I did unbeknownst to each of us. What a surprise that was. So began our Air Force careers. I got to work with her later in Germany and she made the best Jumbalaya I had ever had just like back at IU. I'll miss that and the fun parties she always gave. I feel blessed to have known, worked and partied with such a wonderful human being. We'll all miss her. God Speed Christie!

rest peacefullyMy deepest sympathy to Christie's family. She was my supervisor in the Air Force band of the Golden West. She was an excellent musician and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. I really respected her for that. Rest in peace, Christie.

For Christie\'s FamilyMy heart goes out to her family. Chris was an incredible musician and I always admired her for that quality as well as her many others. Her coffee can and bananna bread were the best. I can still see her red ponytail bouncing from side to side. May she rest in peace.

OUR THOUGHTS ARE WITH CHRISTIE\'S FAMILYOur 7H Red Hat Society Chapter sends sincere condolences at this sad time in the life of Christie's family. Christie rode our Red Hat Float in the Highland Krewe Parade this past February and it was her first event as a Red Hat Member since she had turned 50. She enjoyed wearing her fathers' blue velvet German Jesters Hat & brought homemade ice cream to the covered dish luncheon at Parade site.
