Buddy, 80, went home to be with his Savior on October 8, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Born to Other and Minnie McDaniel in Hale Center, TX, and after moving to California he met the love of his life, Eva Mae. He joined the Air Force and spent tours in Vietnam and Korea proudly defending his country. After 20 years of active service, he retired and found his true calling as a Minister with the United Pentecostals. Both he and Eva enjoyed serving as evangelists with home missions. Whenever he was able to sneak away, he loved to fish and wonder in the beauty that God created. Buddy is survived by wife, Eva; son, Vince McDaniel and wife Cindy; daughters, Kay Moore and husband Ellis, Kim Golembiski and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Gina Silvio, Josh Moore, Shannon Kershaw, Amanda Shepherd, James Anderson, III, Christina Gordon, Amy Troseth, and Stephen Golembiski; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl McDaniel; two sisters, Thelma Richey and Ruby Nell Boggess, and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Vince McDaniel, Ellis Moore, Jeff Golembiski, Josh Moore, Michael Kershaw, and Michael Shepherd. Honorary pallbearers will be James Anderson, III, Todd Gordon, Bob Troseth, Stephen Golembiski, and Mason Shepherd. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Building Fund of the United Pentecostal of Haughton, so that even in death he will continue to serve the church he loved. Buddy spent his life serving others, of which he enjoyed every moment. He will be greatly missed.
