Obituary of Prentiss "Skeeter" Freeman

Prentiss “Skeeter” Freeman, born June 9, 1939, in Raleigh, MS, passed away at his residence on Friday, May 18, 2018.

Skeeter is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Freeman and Ruby Dupree Freeman; wife, Gayle Freeman; son, Joseph Freeman; brothers, Carl Freeman, Jimmie Freeman, and Steve Freeman; sisters, Callie “Liz” Carter and Nola Foster.

He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Cogar and husband Joe of Waynesburg, PA, Laura Green and husband Glen of Sequin, TX; sons, Prentiss “Bubba” Freeman, Jr. and wife Monica of Plain Dealing, LA, and Paul Freeman of Springhill, LA; brothers, Gary Freeman and wife Ruby of Tallulah, LA, and Richard Freeman and wife Sharon of Coeur d’Alene, ID; sister, Lavone Meadows and husband Danny of Odessa, TX; grandchildren, Josh Cogar and wife Bess of Houston, TX, Kyle Cogar of Marshall, VA, Jonathon Cogar of Waynesburg, PA, Mary Freeman and Brittany Freeman both of Sarepta, LA, and Chris Freeman of Pioneer, LA; great-grandchildren, Kirsten Freeman and William Cogar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home-Bossier with funeral services following.
