Obituary of Beverly Jean Gardner Cash

Beverly Jean Gardner Cash of Lindale, TX, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from complications with pneumonia.  

Beverly was born on September 25, 1954, to Margaret Nell and Gene Gardner in Carthage, TX.  She graduated from Bossier High School in 1972.  She enjoyed a career of over 25 years as a beautician throughout Bossier and Caddo Parish.  She began a career in management at Home Depot throughout northwest Louisiana, south Arkansas, and east Texas.  In recent years, she worked at Lowe’s in Lindale, TX, which became her home and extended family that loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Nell Jones Basham; her son, Charles Matthew Stevenson; and her brother, Donald Ray Gardner.  She is survived by her son, AJ Stevenson and wife, Lori; two grandsons, Garrett and Chase Stevenson, all of Blanchard, LA,  her sister, Sue Fawcett and husband, Dick, of Benton, LA; nephew, Daniel Sean Durham of Bossier, LA, and her son’s father, Andrew Stevenson of Shreveport, LA.  

A memorial service for Beverly will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Heights Baptist Church, 3820 Old Mooringsport Road, Shreveport, LA. 

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, TX for caring for her, as well as countless family and friends that have offered prayers, food, flowers, and comfort in these last few days.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Trinity Heights Baptist Church senior missions fund in her honor.
