I was a piano student of Thalia's mother, Lalia Hurst White from 1947 until about 1952. Mrs. White gave me the single most valuable treasure of my life, my ability to play the piano, and I will be forever in her debt. I remember her with great affection. If anyone in Thalia's family had a picture of Mrs. White, I would be so grateful to have it.
