Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City with Bro. Billy Crosby officiating. Burial will be at Grove Hill Cemetery near Mansfield, LA. Ed graduated from Mansfield High School and Louisiana Tech, where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. He established Delta Controls, Inc., of Shreveport, LA. Over 33 years as its owner and CEO, he succeeded in his goal of building this manufacturing entity into one that is known and respected in the United States and worldwide as a producer of quality, innovative, and safe equipment, and he earned the respect of his peers, buyers, and employees. He was proud to be an engineer and as such was a member of ISA, ASME and a Registered Professional Engineer in Mechanical Engineering and Control Systems Engineering. He realized his long-time dream of owning a home on Caddo Lake with his wife Millie. He served his chosen community of Mooringsport as Councilman. The family expresses sincere gratitude to Dr. Gazi Zabari, Dr. Stanford Katz, Dr. Robert Nickelson, their staffs and to all those at Willis Knighton North for their excellent and loving care for Ed during his recent illness. Also, to the many good friends and associates, we give our sincere and heartfelt thanks for their prayers and support. To God, we give our deepest and eternal gratitude for providing Ed His love, mercy, faithfulness, many good friends, loyal employees and for blessing Ed with love and a rich, full life. Thank you, Lord, that Ed could and truly did so many times say, "God has always been good to me."
