Obituary of David Wayne Beeson
David Wayne Beeson born March 26, 1962, went to meet his Lord on July 29, 2019. There will be a celebration of life for Coach Beeson on Saturday August 3, 2019 at Airline Baptist Church starting at 10:00 AM.
David Wayne Beeson was born in Dallas, Texas. As a young man he joined the United States Air Force, which would eventually lead David to his final home, Bossier City, Louisiana. Throughout his military career David would serve many tours including Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. David retired from the Air Force in March 2009 after 25 years and ten months of honorable service to his country. After retirement, David followed his lifelong dream of becoming a coach and mentor. There is no better way to describe David’s dedication to the Bearkat family than by his friend and colleague Coach Michael Concilio who stated “…Nobody knows how much he did for Bossier High except the security cameras.”
Preceding David in death is his Mother Dorris Annett Ware and Father Charles Richard Coleman.
Surviving David in Death is Wife Lori Ann Beeson; Daughters, Elizabeth and Husband John Morphis, Lacy and Husband Mason Pogue, Casey and Corey Johnson; Sons, Coty Johnson and Coleman Beeson; Brothers, Scott, Greg and Jerry Beeson; Grandchildren, Katrina, Jackalyn, Zayla, AJ, Amoni, Jamee, Damion, Kannon, Madilynn, Abigail and Macy.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the David Beeson Memorial Fund for athletic scholarships and student athletic assistance.
