Funeral services for Robert Hailey ?Bob? Caskey will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2009 at Old Saline Baptist Church in Saline, Louisiana. Interment will follow in Old Saline Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Louisiana Funeral and Cremation Care in Shreveport on Monday, October 12, 2009 between the hours of 10:00 and 11:30 AM, and at Old Saline Baptist Church from 1:00 PM till service time. Bob passed away on October 9, 2009 at the Northwest Louisiana War Veterans Home following a lengthy illness. He was widely known as a master story teller that loved to listen to bluegrass music. Family and friends love to hear him tell stories of his life and the time he spent in the United States Air Force defending his country during the Korean War. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and son, Randall Cy Caskey. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeanette Caskey; daughter, Shirley Gilbert; son, Robert Lynn Caskey and wife Nancy; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and one sister Billie June Southern. This proud Korean Veteran will be missed by all that had the honor of knowing him.
