Covington, LA ? Graveside services for Marie Larue Hawkins will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, July 31, 2009 at Forest Park West Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, 2009 between the hours of 3:00 and 7:00 PM at Louisiana Funeral and Cremation Care located at 3903 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, LA. Marie, 77, was born in Zwolle and passed away July 26, 2009 in Mandeville, LA following a courteous battle with cancer. Preceding her in death are parents, Sam and Pearl Larue; brothers, Jessie and Doyle Larue; sister, Doris Larue. Marie is survived by sons, Perry and Larry Dotson; step-daughter, Margaret Abbott; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christine, Jessica, and Anna; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
