I had the privilege of working with Carl for 4 years. He was a gracious, kind-hearted yet fun-loving soul who was always up for a little harmless mischief. He was a man of integrity and great character and though I'd not seen him in many years, I will miss him. Rest easy, good sir. Thank you for being a blessing in my life.

It saddened me to see the photograph of Mr. Carl Pease in the newspaper obituaries. As I was saddened for the family it brought back powerful memories to me. I was in the Jr. R.O.T.C. program at Captain Shreve High School with Doug. After one awards ceremony Mr. Pease approached and congratulated me on the awards I had received. As an impressionable young lady that often felt invisible to the world his action is a testimony to this: we never know how powerful our presence and kindness can be to others. His face, his time, his encouragement has been remembered these 45 years. There is comfort in knowing he is reunited with Doug, a life lost too soon. I will be praying for Mrs. Pease and the rest of the family. God bless you all.

Mrs. Pease,
I don't know if you remember me, but I worked with Carl at Hutchinson & Green/Kouns & Green many years ago! When I saw his picture in the paper yesterday, it brought back fond memories. He was very caring, considerate, funny. Handwriting was terrible!!
What a blessing to have had as many years together as you have had. I am thankful for that. Know that you and your family are being prayed for and remembered during this time.
Sincerely,
Ellen Roberts
