Haughton, LA- A memorial service for Jonathan C. Burgess will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2005, at 10:30 AM, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, on Bumcombe Rd. in Shreveport, with Rev. Bill Stovall officiating. Mr. Burgess passed away Monday in Shreveport.
He was born on September 20, 1948. Mr. Burgess served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He spent most of his life in Alabama and worked as a mechanic. Mr. Burgess was a member of the Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Dallas.
Surviving him is his mother Juanita Owen; father Clyde Michael Burgess; sister Brenda "Tracey" Peterman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
