Bossier City, LA ? Funeral services for Jean Rogers will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport, 3903 Meriwether Road, Shreveport. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery West. Officiating will be Rev. David McCormick of Heritage Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at Boone Funeral Home-Shreveport between 5:00-7:00, Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Surrounded by her family, Jean passed away peacefully on November 6, 2011. Proceeding her in death are her parents, Wesley and Clara Lockwood; husband, Ray Rogers; brother, Elmer Lockwood; and sister, Vera Viles. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Loe Posey and husband Darryl, and Sharon Kay Loe Pitts and husband Kelvin; son, David Loe, II and wife Peggy; grandchildren Stephen Posey and wife Tracey, James David Posey and fiancé, Claudia Haacker, Jonathan Posey and wife, Julie, Micah Loe, Aftan Creighton and husband Joey, Robert and Crystal Bailey and Emily Pitts; nine great-grandchildren; father of her children, David Loe; sisters, Madie Nale and Mareen Delaney and brother, J.H. Lockwood. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, James, Jonathan and Stephen Posey, Micah Loe, Robert Bailey and Bobby Ebarb. Honorary pallbearer will be grandson Joey Creighton.
