To the family,
When a loved one dies, no words, however, reasonable, can take away the pain and the void in your hearts. May "the Father of tender mercies, the God of all comfort" grant you "the peace that excels all thought" during this difficult time.(2 Corinthians 1:3,4; Philippians 4:7) He promises that:"He will actually swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces."(Isaiah 25:8; Psalms 83:18)He promises that:"Your dead ones will live."(Isaiah 26:19) He says: "There will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up."(Daniel 12:2)Although this is painful, you can trust these promises:"For no matter how many the promises of God (Jehovah) are, they have become Yes by means of (by the death of)Jehovah's Son, Christ Jesus.-2 Corinthians 1:20; John 10:36; John 3:16.
