To the family,
When a loved one dies, no words, however reasonable, can take the pain away. May you find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, "the Creator of the heavens, the One laying out the earth, the One giving breath to the people on the earth" is aware of the pain in your hearts during this difficult time.(Isaiah 42:5) He promises that:"He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the pain from all faces."(Isaiah 25:8; Psalms 83:18) He says:"There will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up."(Daniel 12:2) So although you are hurting, don't be puzzled by the death of your loved one because, "The hour is coming in which all those sleeping in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."(John 5:28; John 11:43) You can trust these promises because they come from Jehovah, and it is impossible for him to lie.-Titus 1:2.
