Haughton—Mr. Robert C. Monson, age 92, of Haughton passed from this life on Friday, March 30, 2007 at his home. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 1 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Boone Funeral Home with a special time of remembrance at 5:00pm.
Mr. Monson was born in Chicago, IL and retired from the Chicago Transit Authority after 36 years as a lineman.
Preceding Mr. Monson in death is his wife of 56 years, Mildred Monson. Surviving him are his daughter, Vivian Miller and husband Richard of Haughton; grandchildren, Denise Lattier and husband Richard of Longview, TX and Alan Edwards and wife Kathy of Haughton; and great-grandchildren, Christopher, Adam, and Clayton Lattier.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Shriner's Children's Hospital.
