Obituary of Dorothy Robinette

Shreveport, LA- Dorothy J. Robinette, age 92, entered into heaven Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Willis Knighton South after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Robinette was born May 19, 1915 in Wickliffe, KY. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, the American Rose Society, and the Shreveport Garden Club. She was an avid fisherman and loved to garden. But most of all she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Robinette was preceded in death by her first husband; Raymond Volk and her second husband; Leslie C. Robinette. She is survived by her son; Burke Robinette and wife Deidra of Gilbertsville, KY, daughter; Mary Hugh and husband Monty of Shreveport, LA, Ten grandchildren, including Greg Ralph who was her special caretaker towards the end of her life, sister; Sybil Camusi of Los Angeles, CA, and cousin; Westine Dennis of Wickliffe, KY. The family would like to thank the staff at Willis Knighton South, and Heritage Manor South for their loving care.
