Funeral Services for Mrs. Vara Smith will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at 10am in the Chapel of Louisiana Funeral Care with burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetery West. Visitation will be from 7:00pm until 9:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith passed from this life on Saturday, May 31, 2008. She was a loving Mother and Mamaw. Every day at 3:00, family and friends could stop always by for coffee and some type of cake. That time of day will never be the same. Surviving Mrs. Smith are her daughters, Jo Ann Smith Lasyone and husband Chris, and Donna Pearson and husband Don; grandchildren, Amanda Trombley, Tina Sweeten, Amber Sims, and Katrina Ridens; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Don Pearson, Chris Lasyone, Gerald Sweeten, Seth Sweeten, Michael Sims, and Tommy Ridens. She will always be loved and missed
