Carol Brill Shreveport, LA August 31, 2006 3:42 PM Carol was a patriotic role model for me and my students at Caddo Magnet High School. She was so dedicated and worked so hard. Thanks to her family for sharing her with us. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeannette Bange Bossier City, LA August 26, 2006 6:35 PM Mrs. Briggs was a part of our Kerr Elementary family while I served as principal there. She would come each year to share the information about contests that our students and teachers could be involved with. She would come quietly and never wanted to take too much time out of our busy days. When our entries were due, quietly she would come again to pick them up and be sure that our students were entered properly. We always had winners. She was as proud of the students as any parent could be. Mrs. Briggs also took time to collect phone books for recycling and brought them to Kerr so that our school would get credit. Each year's visit always brought the question, "Do you need any flags?" Our classrooms were always adoed with the best "grand ol' flags." She was our friend and I always looked forward to her visits - short, sweet, and always with a sincere smile of interest. I always knew that things would be taken care of if Carol Briggs was in charge of them. I told all my students that "once a Kerr Kat, always a Kerr Kat!" Carol Briggs was one of the best Kerr Kats ever! May God bless each of you during this difficult time. I will remember her fondly! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kathy johnson Dziadosz shreveport August 24, 2006 10:43 PM Clyde your MoM was a great Lady in Boss when i worked with her at Tebbes Bowling Lanes.
