Obituary of Terry Lane Philyaw

Terry Philyaw, age 62 of Elm Grove Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on September 3, 2020. The family will have a visitation on September 8, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City, Louisiana from 4PM to 7PM Tuesday Evening.

Mr Philyaw was born to Bettie and Willard Philyaw on August 23, 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended Fairpark Highschool. After getting out of school, Terry would go on to work Beard Poulan making chainsaws. Later on in life, he would work for Professional Transportation and The Caddo Coroner's office as well as working as a security guard for the Pilot Casino in Haughton, Louisiana.

Preceeding Terry in death is his father Willard Philyaw and Step-Daughter Heather Michelle Lloyd.

He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth (Libby) Philyaw; mother, Bettie Philyaw; daughters, Candace Philyaw and Christina and husband Peyton Dodd; brother, Alan and wife Sandy Philyaw ; Step-sons, Stephen, Kenneth and Kendell Lloyd; grandchildren, Gracie and Aubree Dodd as well as Destiny and Dakota Lloyd; nephews Jay and Marshall Philyaw and beloved dog Elvis and Baylee.
