My sympathy to family and friends: At this time of sadness, please know that Almighty God cares and invites you to let Him help you - 1Peter 5:7. Also knowing Almighty God keeps our loved ones who are ‘sleeping in death’ in his memory until the resurrection onto the peaceful new earth, is comforting - Acts 24:15; Revelation 21:1, 4 and Titus 1:2.

Shiela’s death is a triumph for her spirit, but a loss of radiance from among our midst. I knew her fifty years ago at NATCHITOCHES High. She was a thoroughly wonderful person then, and my expectation is that, thereafter, she continued to glow on ALL everywhere she was present.

To Gene, My condolences and prayers for you and Sheilda Kaye’s family. It seems like only yesterday that y’all were my neighbor on Grayson Street. Y’all had the sweetest mother I’ve ever known. I understand that Sheilda was just like her. We have talked several times online, trying to play catch-up on everything. Time was not in our favor. Please take care and again, My condolences to you, her children and her grandchildren.
Rest in Peace! ❤️
