Obituary of Wilda Droullard Burnett

Shreveport, LA- Wilda Leatrice Droullard Burnett, 79, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on October 7th 2008. Visitation will be Friday, October 10, 2008 at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA from 7:00 -9:00 p.m. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11th, at Forest Park Cemetery (St. Vincent) in Shreveport. She is preceded in death by her husband Norman "Red" Burnett, her parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers. She is survived by 3 sisters, 1 brother, 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; daughter, Norma Dunston and husband Bob and their children Elizabeth, Emily and Daniel, all of Williamsburg, KY; daughter Ouida Ray of Arden, NC and her children Melissa Ray of Greer SC, Geoff Ray of Sheboygan, WI and Chris and Amy Ray and their children; Jack, Thatcher and Margaret, all of Rochester Hills, MI; Russell and Vickie Burnett and their children Stephen and Jeannie, all of Little Rock AR; and Randall and Sonja Burnett and their daughter Rebecca, all of Shreveport, LA In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Meals on Wheels c/o Caddo Council on Aging. 4015 Greenwood Road, Shreveport, LA 71109.
