Shreveport, LA - Alton Tyler, 79, passed away suddenly June 27, 2013. He passed with the love of his children by his side.
Alton proudly spent 20 years in the Air Force defending the country he loved. However, his main focus was his family that he loved deeply. He was always teaching, not only his children, but also neighborhood children, to always be respectful. In his spare time, he loved to plant either flowers in the yard or vegetables in the garden.
Alton was sadly preceded in death by a son, Craig Anthony Tyler. He is survived by daughter, Linda Cox; two sons, James Tyler and Michael Tyler; grandchildren, Linda Tyler Cox, John Tyler Morgan, Matthew Tyler Morgan, and Brittany Leigh Marx; great-grandson, Jaxon Tyler Morgan; brother, Mark Tyler; the mother of his children, Nancy Tyler; and close companion, Jo Fugate.
