Obituary of Linda Darlene Meadows

Linda Darlene Meadows passed away peacefully on November 14, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  A memorial and celebration of her life will be held at Boone Funeral Home in Bossier City on November 22, 2020 at 3 pm.

 

Linda was born at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida on July 26, 1947 to Earl and Marceil Dyson.  One of her favorite things to do was sing Gospel music. Linda also loved to play Bingo and more importantly loved to win prizes like stuffed animals that she could hand out to the many little ones in her life. Throughout her life, the most important thing to her was her family and that will be carried on through many generations to come.

 

She is preceded in death by her father Earl Dyson and grandson Brandon Meadows.

 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband George Meadows, mother Marceil Dyson, sisters Judy Dyson, Sherry Price and husband Wayne, Deana Berry and husband Robert and her brother David Dyson; sons, Daniel Bryant and wife Tammy, Rusty (Dewayne) Meadows and wife Crystal, Allen Meadows and wife Lisa and Joseph (Wayne) Meadows; daughter, Brenda (Ann) Bryant; grandchildren, Kathy (Lizzy) Cooper and husband Tommy, Kenneth (Howie) Bryant, Tiffany Piquiet, Joshua Harrell, Aaron, Jordan, and Emma Meadows and Great Grandson Bryson Piquiet and numerous other family and friends.

 

The family would also like to thank the staff of Heritage Manor South for their love and care over the last few years while she resided in their facility.
