Obituary of Kevin Gerald Buuck
Cheers to the life of Kevin Buuck, 60, residing in Bossier City, LA. Kevin peacefully passed away on June 5, 2019. He was born May 4, 1959 in Canada. He moved to the United States as a young adult. Kevin was a jack-of-all-trades. In his early days he was a fine helicopter pilot, “one of the best in the business”. Some of his piloting talents included; crop dusting, medevac, and logging. Later in life Kevin, “Canadian” decided to switch careers. He purchased a Peterbuilt truck and went over the road. He gave his all no matter what he did and he always made a friend wherever he landed. He was the kind of guy that would give the shirt off of his back to someone if they needed it.
Kevin was a strong courageous fighter who’s biggest accomplishments in his life and most proud moments were his 4 children. He loved his children more than anything in the world. He also loved and cherished the moments he had with all 5 of his granddaughters.
Kevin did not go down without a fight and refused to give up. From the beginning to the end he fought this battle with dignity and might. We would like to thank the MICU doctors and nurses, RT’s, and radiology staff at Ocshners/ LSU, also Dr. Beedupalli and the oncology staff at Feist- Weiller Cancer Center.
Although we are saddened by the loss of Kevin, we are relieved to know that he has been healed and is now reuniting with friends and family that have passed before him. We will all rejoice in the memories and may they never fade from our minds. We will think about and laugh at the time we had with him on this earth. Rest in Peace Dad, we love you.
