Obituary of Arthur Lee Clark

Arthur Clark, 57, originally from Dixie, La., and long-time resident of Shreveport, passed away peacefully January 23, 2021. He was born September 23, 1964 to the late Mr. Arthur Stringer and Bernice Clark.

Arthur was a hard worker He worked as a professional lawnman. He was liked and respected by those with whom he worked. Arthur never met a stranger. He would shed a positive light on any situation. Arthur was an ideal friend and neighbor. He would go out of his way to help the ones he loved.

Arthur loved to play domino’s while “trash talking”.

Arthur has touched many during his life with his laugh and his smile. His family, friends, neighbors and co-workers will miss him dearly. His legacy will continue for generations to come. 

Left to cherish his memory, brothers Tommy Payne and Ernest Ray Clark; sisters Joyce Ann Clark and Linda Payne

Preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Clark; father Arthur Stringer; brothers Alvin Payne and Marcus Clark; sister Ruby Clark

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Louisiana State University Ochsner Hospital, Pierremont Rehab Center staff, and all those who loved and cared for Arthur.

Because of the current pandemic and concerns for the health and safety of everyone, the Clark family, has chosen not to have services at this time.
