Obituary of Mickey Douglas Bogan

Mickey D Bogan of Bossier City passed away on August 11.
Visitation will be held at Boone Funeral Home 2156 Airline Dr on August 13 from 6 until 8.
Funeral service will be held on Friday August 14 at Boone funeral home at 10:00 with Pastor Bryan Reed of The Simple Church officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Castor.
Mickey was born in Castor, LA to Earnest and Alma Bogan on April 15, 1944. He graduated at Bossier High School and went on to Northwestern State University. He worked in the car hauling industry for Complete Auto Transit as area manager. He had also been employed at the Bienville and Bossier Parish Sheriffs depts.
He is survived by his daughters Kim White and Jennifer Van Ommeren with husband Mike and brother Jack Bogan. Grandchildren Hannah Weirich with husband Kevin, Michael Van Ommeren, Sidney Van Ommeren, and Addison Sonnier. Great grandchildren Konner and Avery Weirich. Niece Margaret McGough with husband Morgan and great nephew Wesley. Nephew John Bogan.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Jason White, Riverview Care Center, Fresenius Dialysis Center, Lifecare,and Willis Knighton Pierremont.
