Obituary of James Coach

Jefferson TX- Graveside services for James "Jimmy Dale" Coach, 51, of Jefferson were held Thursday, May 21, 2008 at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, in Keithville, LA. Mr. Coach was born November 29, 1956 in Marshall, TX, the son of Billy Ray Coach and Minnette and Billy D. Waldrop. He went to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 17, 2008 surrounded by his family. He graduated from Marshall High School, and then went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army in the medical field for 13 years. Jimmy was a Baptist and loved to cook and bless others with his homemade delights! But most of all he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Survivors include his wife; Theresa Trahan Coach; daughter; Teri Yardley and husband Blake; stepson; Aaron J. Trahan, two granddaughters; Haley and Emma Yardley, his mother and step father; Minnette Waldrop Dukes and Irving Dukes, one brother; David Ginn and wife Sheryl, two sisters; Roxane Morris and husband Wesley, Cindy Heath and husband Steve, five nephews; Garrett and Spencer Morris, and Brian, Aaron, and Christopher Hall, one niece; Amanda Hall, seven aunts and three uncles. Two people close to his heart for many years were his Aunt Judy and good friend Amy Armstreet. A "Remembrance of Life" memorial for family and friends will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at the Grace Covenant Church in Marshall TX. Pastor Dick McAnally will officiate. His aunt, Sheryn Jones, will give a eulogy. Please deliver all flowers to the Grace Covenant Church.
