Shreveport, LA ? Funeral services for Maryanna P. Green (Mickey) will be held Thursday, March 5, 2009, 1:00 PM at Louisiana Funeral and Cremation Care. Officiating will be Rev. Robert A. Goetjen of Faith Temple Assembly Church.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
Mickey was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Lee Green and daughter Deborah Green Moore. Mickey is survived by her daughter Yvonne Head and husband Frank; sons, John Stacy Green, Jesse Lee Green, Jr. and wife Minette; Grandchildren, Andrew, John and James Green, Robby and Tim Davis and Ryan Moore; Great-Grandchildren, Brittany, Caden, Piper and Pearce Davis and sister-in-law, Martha Green.
Mickey was a very active member of her church and when she wasn?t doing the Lord?s work she donated her time crocheting afghans for Province House graduates. Many people in Shreveport/Bossier City will miss her generosity and sweet spirit.
