Funeral services for Frances Lucille Hornbeak will be held in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home, Bossier City, on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at 1:00 pm. Officiating the service will be Rev. Danny Moffett. Graveside services will follow at Pease Chapel Cemetery, Haughton, LA. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-7 pm. Mrs. Hornbeak passed away June 17, 2007, in Bossier City. She was born on June 5, 1916, in Pomona, IL. Mrs. Hornbeak was a homemaker and a wonderful cook. She lived most of her life in Cairo, IL, moving to Bossier City four years ago. Mrs. Hornbeak enjoyed playing the piano during her younger years at home and church. She was preceded in death by her husband; four sons; four brothers; two sisters; and one grandchild. Surviving her is her son Joseph L. Hornbeak, Jr. and wife Jean; grandchildren: Gail Ebarb, Susan Shaw, Robin Abdeljabar, Troy Hornbeak, Steve Hornbeak, Mike Hornbeak, Teresa Hornbeak, Jimmy Taber; numerous great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank one special niece, Geraldine Sourbraum, who took care of her for many years. Pallbearers will be Wally Martin, Paul Stonestreet, Larry Gautney, Greg Ebarb, Jimmy Taber, Jeremy Hatcher, and David Watkins.
