Bossier City – Join us in celebrating the life of Linda Guidry between 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Boone Funeral Home. 

Linda ,69, was born in Hope, Arkansas September 20, 1948 and passed away suddenly on February 16, 2018.  She was raised in the Shreveport area and went on to attend LSU for accounting.  After working many years, she had recently retired and enjoyed dancing, bowling with her league, getting on Facebook, reading mystery novels, and talking on the phone to her many friends and loved ones.  When weather permitted, she loved boating on the Red River. 

Proceeding Linda in death are parents, James and Jean Toms; brother, James “Bimbo” Toms

Linda leaves behind to cherish many loving memories husband, Nathan Guidry; daughter, Angie Brown; son, Sammy Shropshire and wife Devin; grandchildren, Skye Burcham, and Slade Shropshire; sister, Melba Phillips and husband David; brothers, Alan Toms, and Clinton Toms; nieces, Leslie, Ashley, and Kristie.

Linda was a bright light to her family and many friends. Her warm smile would light up any room.  She loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother.  Everyone who met Linda felt her love and warmth, as she was a beautiful soul. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her.
