Funeral services for Jack will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Stockwell Baptist Church. Officiating will be Brother Nathan Luellen and Brother Bobby Lewis. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to service time. Jack was a proud member of the U.S. Coast Guard for 28 years, and passed away at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center on February 25, 2017. In his spare time, Jack loved to play his many string instruments. His musical talents created many memorable moments that his family will always cherish. He also loved being outdoors fishing and hunting. He is preceded in death by his son, David Jordan; parents, Margie and Robert Jordan; three brothers, Kenneth, Vernon and Tommy Joe Jordan He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Julia Kay; children, Theresa Jordan, Connie Beck and husband William, Brenda Earl and husband Willie, Jack Jordan and wife Janet, and Christine Waren and husband Mark; grandchildren, Katherine Jordan, Emily Jordan, Jonathan Blake, Jordan Blake, Jadyn Beck, Jacee Beck, Jace Beck, Brayden Earl and Jordan Earl; siblings, Dennis Jordan, and Robert Jordan; numerous other friends and family members. Serving as pallbearers will be William Beck, Willie Earl, Mark Waren, Jimmy Jordan, Kevin Collins, and Clay Craig. Jack and his family gave a lot to our country. He will be truly missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his wife, kids, and grandkids.
