To the family,
When a loved one dies, the pain and the grief is unbearable. No words, however reasonable, can take away the pain and the void in your hearts. May you draw comfort in knowing that that "the Father of tender mercies, the God of all comfort,"is aware of the pain in your hearts. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)He says:"He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces."(Isaiah 25:8; Psalms 83:18) He says:"There will be many of those asleep in ground of dust who will wake up."(Daniel 12:2)So, although you are hurting, don't be troubled by the death of your loved one, because:"The hour is coming in which all those sleeping in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."(John 5:28;John 11:43)You can trust these promises because they come from Jehovah, and it is impossible for him to lie.
