Obituary of Robert Anthony McCarty

Robert Anthony McCarty, Jr. (Robby), age 48, of Shreveport, LA, passed away on May 27, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be held at Boone Funeral Home Bossier Chapel, 2156 Airline Drive, on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:00 am. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am in the Boone Chapel. Robert was born in Shreveport, LA on November 25, 1966 to Robert A. McCarty, Sr. and Charlotte Sue Branch. He went to Northwood High School. He then served in the United States Army. He did construction work as a carpenter on commercial projects. Robby enjoyed fishing and playing his guitar. He is survived by his wife, Fayna Gary McCarty, son, Robert Anthony McCarty III, (Trey), daughter, Brittanie McCarty Tedder, daughter, Summer Gary, and four grandchildren, Chyenne DiAngelo, Alexis Schmidt, Sierra Gary, and Isaiah Gary. He is also survived by his father, Robert A. McCarty and wife Gaye. His mother, Charlotte Sue Branch Carroll, sisters Kimberly Ann Parker and Melanie Babin, brother Jason McCarty, his paternal grandmother Myrtis McCarty and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to those who prayed for Robby and also to those who came to join us today in celebrating his life.
