Sharon Marie Taylor was born April 4, 1940 in Madison WI. Sharon spent her life always caring for others and became an LPN working for various hospitals and nursing homes until she retired in 2006 and moving to Bossier City, LA with her husband James and daughter Debra. Upon arriving in Bossier City, Sharon joined Immanuel Lutheran Church where she quickly got involved in LWML, Fellowship and once a week cooking dinner with church members for Providence House. Sharon’s favorite pastime when she was not with family she was baking and going to the boats on Saturday afternoons with her longtime friend Patrick Davis.

Sharon joined her husband James in heaven June 26, 2020 at home with family.

Sharon Taylor is survived by her sons Richard R Taylor of Madison, WI; Dale C. Taylor of Palm Bay, FL; daughter Debra D. Taylor of Bossier City, LA; granddaughter Mackenzye E. Taylor of Bossier City, LA; Gayle L. Broyles of Bossier City, LA; nieces Amber Champagne, Ashley Midkiff and nephew Michael Midkiff.

The Taylor family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to Immanuel Lutheran Church for LWML or the building fund.
