Obituary of Sharon G. Armes

Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Sharon was born on August 7, 1950 in Searcy, Arkansas to Kenneth and Winnie Gentry.  Sadly, she left this world on April 5, 2018 after complications from heart surgery.  Service information will be announced at a later date.

Sharon loved teaching children and spent many years educating the future generation.  She was very active in her church as a day care worker and truly loved her Lord.  Her and her husband served as missionary for four years in Mexico.  Even though she loved all children, her grandbabies were her true loves.  She spent every moment she could spoiling and teaching them.  In her spare time, she loved reading, coloring and watching movies and crime shows.

Preceding Sharon in death was her husband, Theodore Edward Armes; parents, Kenneth and Winnie Gentry; and brothers, Ben and John Gentry.  She is survived by son, Kenneth Armes and wife Kimberly; daughter, Kristina Armes; grandchildren, Michael Armes, Matthew Armes, Kyle Armes, and Hannah Armes, Meaghan Schulz, Nikole Schulz, and Alissandra Schulz; and siblings, Mary Garrett, and  Ken Gentry, Jr.

Sharon touched many lives during her years of teaching.  She educated our future leaders and led many to follow her example.  She will be missed by many friends and loved ones.  She will never be forgotten.
