Sylvia Marie Lachney, 70, of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, passed Wednesday, August 08, 2018 at 6:14 pm . Sylvia was born to Horace Dickerson and Johnnie Marie Norwood Gilcrease, September 16, 1947 In McComb, Mississippi.. She married David (Mike) Michael Lachney on May 7,1965. Sylvia worked at Riverview Care Center. In 2017 she was honored with the Plantation Management Company, 2017 Laundry Employee Of The Year Award. 

She is proceeded in death by: her first born daughter Tammy Marie Lachney, husband David (Mike) Michael Lachney,mother Johnnie Norwood Gilcrease, father Horace Dickerson, brothers Sammy & Michael (Mike) Dickerson.

Sylvia is survived by 3 children: Shelly Lachney (Bill Bahr) of Plain Dealing, La., Chasity Deville (Kyle) of Bossier City, La., & Jetty Lachney. She also is survived by her 8 grandchildren: Shelby, Colby, Katelyn, Brooklyn, John Luke, Brionna, J.J., & Dakota. She is also survived by her sister Connie Kahoe of Harvey, La.. She is also survived by: several In-Laws, numerous nieces and nephews, and additional family & friends.

She was a loving Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Aunt, & Friend to all. She will be greatly missed. 

 We were & Always will be a great team. We Will Love You Moma, For Always & Forever In Our Hearts !
