Obituary of Martha Rich

Mrs. Martha Rich passed away at her home on Saturday, December 1, 2007. She was born on March 28, 1930, in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Rich was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Rich enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and especially taking care of her family.
Surviving her is her loving husband of 58 years C.D. Rich; children and their spouses: Pat and Sandy Rich, Elizabeth and David Strange, Alan and Kim Rich, David Rich; brother Billy Thornton; grandchildren: Patrick, John, Sydney, Madison, Zachary; and one great granddaughter Whitney Rich.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael; and her parents, William and Lovie Thornton.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be sent to Elm Grove Baptist Church in her memory.
At her request, the family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date.
