Benton LA- Funeral services for Tim F. Turner Sr., age 52, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Boone Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Simons of Fresh Oil Worship Center in Oil City. Interment will follow at Rose Neath Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Turner passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008 at home, surrounded by his family. He loved to hunt, work hard, and was very giving to others. But most of all he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Charlene Turner, four sons: Tim Turner Jr., David Turner, Brad Turner, Wesley Turner, one daughter: Sarah Porterfield, 13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Willis Knighton Hospice especially Miss Lucy, for all their loving care.
