Martha and I would get detention for chewing gum or talking in class so we would find Sr Agnes Ruth to work in her hothouse on Saturday mornings in high school. Sr would cull her plants or give Martha and I big ones to take home. One day she took us in the convent and we saw One of the sr’s with her head piece off and she got mad at all 3 of us!
