Bossier City - Graveside services for Joe Sterling will be held 10:00 AM Thursday February 26, 2009 at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jeff Joyner of Bellaire Baptist Church.
Joe, 66, passed away February 23, 2009 in Shreveport. He leaves behind his wife Ivy Sterling; daughter, Reyna Lemoine and husband Joe; son Jerry Garcia; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; parents, Oliver and Dorothy Sterling; sisters, Sharon Lowery and husband Bill, and Sandra Pottmeyer and husband James, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe, who served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam, loved to fish and camp. Joe, you will be greatly missed.
