Obituary
Obituary of Tammy Carol Mansfield
Please share a memory of Tammy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Tammy grew up overseas living in Iran, Angola, and Saudi Arabia. She attended Bradford High School in Bradford, Arkansas. She enjoyed traveling, visiting new places and meeting new people. Tammy especially loved light houses and taking pictures of fabulous sunsets! She loved photography and had several of her pictures published. Tammy was extremely gifted at knitting and crocheting and she could make a pattern from a garment she saw. She designed many patterns of her own patterns that everyone loved. She had just started a website "And I Made It Myself" where she sold the items that she made and the patterns she designed. Tammy truly enjoyed sharing her finished pieces with family and friends. Anyone who has an item knitted or crocheted by Tammy has an original. Tammy befriended many people on Facebook that say she was a true friend even though they had never met her in person.
Tammy is survived by Jonathan M. Thompson (whom was going to ask Tammy to marry him on her birthday March 7th), daughters: Meghan Spivey of Corrigan, Texas, Laura Mansfield and Amy Warden of Jacksonville, Arkansas and her son, Douglas John Schwenker, brother: Forrest Allen Byler Jr. and wife Vicky of Friendswood, TX, sister: Debbie Cox and fiancé Tommy Sanders of Katy, TX, father: Forrest Allen Byler Sr. of Nacogdoches. Tammy was preceded in death by mother, Carol Joan Byler and grandson, Eric Spivey.
