As much as it saddens me to say goodbye for now...I am happy to have known you and your beautiful family....I am happy you are no longer suffering any pain and are happy in heaven watching over us all....you were like a second father to me when I was a kid....always lovingly accepted me into your home and treated me like one of your own and I love you for that! What am amazing life you lived and experienced...and I am grateful to have been a part of it....thank you for bringing three beautiful children into this world and raising them as best you knew how and look at them now...thank you for your service and love to this country...you are missed...until we get to meet again...I know you are looking down smiling on us all....

To My Stepmom Bebe, thank you so very much for being Daddy's soul mate and loving and caring for him the way you have done. I saw what true love really means and what FAMILY LOVE is all about through your love for each other! You and Daddy loved us unconditionally and supported us through everything. If there was a birthday, holiday or the Saints or Packers were playing you can best believe it was being celebrated and family was at the house. The grandchildren never wanted to leave Papaw and Bebe’s house!
Thank you so very much for the self-sacrificing care that you gave to Daddy when he became sick, from the countless doctor's appointments, to the many sleepless nights and the one on one care that you provided him while sleeping on the couch next to his hospital bed so you could tend to his every need. I cannot thank you enough…you have done the best you could do and now Daddy is in Heaven with no pain or suffering. Love you so very much Bebe! RIP Daddy, I Love you! <3

I cannot begin to express how much you are loved and missed. You are such an awesome Daddy, Father, and friend to me.
I always loved to surprise you when coming home on leave from the military to visit...I remember the time when I was hiding in your bedroom and you came home and you were sitting at the kitchen table and I walked out of your room and you saw me, your exact words, "what are you doing here"? we both hugged and starting crying. You are the most compassionate, caring and loving Daddy a girl could ever ask for.
This candle represents the light that you shined on me for so many wonderful years! I'm so thankful to call you Daddy! Rest in peace until I can surprise you again! <3
