Sandra Joyce Thompson Sischo

was born Dec. 10, 1940 in Minden, LA

and passed away Jan. 21, 2020 in Bossier City, LA

 

Sandra was a kind, loving and funny mother,

sister, and friend. She was called Nanny by

her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sandy will be remembered for her devotion to God 

and for her tremendous ability to love and nurture

family and friends…but especially children and pets.

 

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lyle Wilbur Sischo,

her mother, Irma Lee Carraway Staton,

her father, Corman Briggs Thompson

and one sister, Diana Sue Thompson Hedges.

 

She is survived by her children, Wesley Sischo and wife Mary

Denise Harville and husband Mack

and Craig  Sischo and wife PJ

8 grandchildren, Josh Studebaker, Jeremy Sischo,

Matthew, Michael and Jordan Harville,

Rowdy, Danni and Taittum Sischo

along with 9 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister, Rhonda

and brother, Jimmy

a special niece, Christy Lewis

and grand nephew and niece 

Ashton and MacKenna Lewis

and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service will be held on

February 8, 2020 at 11:00  am at

University Church of Christ in Shreveport, LA

officiated by Stuart Freeman
