Obituary of Marie Vincent

Marie Williams Vincent, 89, Shreveport, went to her heavenly home May 26, 2012, at Willis Knighton N, surrounded by her family. Services will be held at Boone Funeral Home in Shreveport on May 31, at 11 am, burial to follow at Forest Park West. Officiating is Rev Harry Forrester assisted by Dr. Bo Worley. Visitation will be at Boone on Wed, May 30, from 5-7. Marie was born in Shreveport on Feb 18, 1923 to Robert L. and Cora Williams, 1 of 9 children. A 1940 graduate of Fair Park High School, Marie worked at both Willis Knighton North and South in the recovery room as a LPN retiring in 1988. She studied with the Auditorium Class of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she was a long time member. Remaining to cherish her memory are her husband of 68 yrs, Thomas H. Vincent; children, Ronnie Vincent, Donald Vincent and wife Vineta, Darlene and husband Bill Thomas all of Shreveport; grandchildren Gina and husband Tyler L?Huillier, Danny and wife Wendy Vincent, Keri Vincent, Kristi Vincent, Heather and husband Tibor Beczo, Erin and husband Jared Stiles; great grandchildren Chris Vincent, Dylan Garsee, Halie and Rachel Stevenson, Carley L?Huillier, Grant Stiles, Lyla Vincent, Jabin and Anika Beczo, James L?Huillier, Luke Vincent, and Savannah Stiles. Honoring Marie as pallbearers are Roy Cordray, David Reeder, Danny Eaves, Vernon Williams, Charles Williams, John Roberts and Lane Hunnicutt.
